This extractor suits the beekeeper where the "hobby" has grown to over 50 hives.

You need an extracting machine to save you time and effort.

During the extraction process the honey is forced out of the uncapped wax cells by centrifugal force, runs down the walls and pools at the bottom of the S/S extractor. A tap or honey pump allows for the removal of honey from the extractor.

The frames drop vertically into Stainless Steel baskets (the top bar is vertical, facing the outside).

As the speed increases, the baskets swing parallel with the drum, and centrifugal force extracts one side of the frame.

When the motor is set on reverse, the baskets swing the other way extracting the opposite side of the frame.

In practice, we recommend you stop the motor when side A (the first side) is partially extracted, then operate in reverse. Once side B is fully extracted, run the motor on forward to fully extract side A. This ensures the weight of honey on side B does not tear the wax out, when the motor is on full speed extracting side A.
