For those beekeepers who need to replace a rim, or make their own clearer board, we can supply the pine rims, separately.

The term Clearer board (or Escape board) refers to a device that helps remove the bees from the honey super.

• A clearer board (also called an escape board) is a one-way device placed between the honey super and the brood chamber.
• It allows bees to move down into the brood chamber but prevents them from returning to the honey supers.
• Typically used 24–48 hours before harvesting honey, giving time for most of the bees to leave the honey super.

Your registered Hive Identification Numbers are made of stainless steel and welded onto a block of mild steel, with a 40 cm long shaft with rubber handle. Once heated, this can be applied to all your wood items - Supers, Frames, Lids, Clearer boards etc. The standard brand is three (3) characters long at $170.00. Each additional character is $15.00 extra.

A commercial branding machine, plus a steel brand heated with a gas burner. This has been designed to enable you to apply your brand to Supers, Frames, Lids, Clearer boards, etc.

Supplied with hose and regulator to fit standard BBQ gas bottle.

Pine box lifting cleats are nailed to the ends of the box to enable easier lifting by hand, and mechanized lifting with bee hive loaders.
