Heavy foundation is milled from thicker ribbon wax. The heavier core is more resistant to distortion in high speed extractors, and remains flatter on the frame. It contains approx 12.5 kgs per carton.

The traditional tool used to embed the frame wire into the wax foundation.

This is a flat sheet of masonite on small cleats, and cut to the size of the wax foundation. It supports the foundation while embedding.

 This device requires a 12 volt transformer or a car battery charger (Not Included) to heat the frame wires to embed the foundation. The fastest of all the embedders. Please note the 4 prongs don't get hot, the 2 outer prongs must touch the wire in the frame to create a short circuit through the frame wire. The frame wire then gets hot and the wax melts and adheres to the wire.
